High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Hello, Nice and clean and were greeted and made to feel welcomed. There were a lot of people in the restaurant which surprised us because you would think it would have been noisy but wasn't loud at all.We ordered the steak and made the mistake of salting it before trying it and it was already salted. We ate all of it and never said anything to are happy and nice waitress. It was some kind steak with a special sauce . We wished we would have ordered something else but we ate all of it.As they say live and learn. The dish was not what we liked but you might like it .Other than that everything was nice.

I was quite unimpressed with the service and the food here witch is saying something seeing as how I came in with low expectations due to the other reviews on here. I ordered a classic cheeseburger with bar b q seasoned fries. The burger was well done but was to cheese witch is a term I've rarely get ever used. The fries were the best part of the meal. The service was not good we asked two different waitresses for mayo and never received it. Judging by the fact that their is only eight tables of people and its right in the middle of the lunch rush I'm assuming this is the norm

I love the Oriental Chicken Salad, but they are SLOW!!!! They are also a little pricey for "Casual Dining" Cheddars is quicker and cheaper.

Stopped here for dinner on drive to KC with wife and daughter. They love Applebee's and usually find them consistent if not fantastic. This one was a bit under par from what we normally expect. First, there was a smell when you enter the front doors. The place was not terrible crowded as it was around 9 pm, but that didn't stop the staff from yelling for runners from the kitchen area as if it was super busy. Our waitress was a nice gal, perhaps a bit overly chatty, but her service was attentive. Our food was not spectacular, but it was Applebee's (maybe just a shade below expectations). General appearance of place looked a little shabby and the bathroom was not clean. Would look for something else next time we are driving by.

Well, we are officially finished with this chain. This used to be my wife's favorite restaurant. 3 out of our last 4 visits have not been good. Last night took the cake. I showed up a bit after 6 and was seated right away. The place was not busy. We had a table of 7 with two separate tabs. The group of 4 ordered two appetizer sampler trays for their meal. Our group of three ordered a chicken sandwich from the kids meal, a Cowboy burger, and a Club sandwich with mayo and mustard on it. It took over 45 minutes for the food to get to us. 45 mins for an appetizer tray to get to our table? During that time, the service was sparse and not very attentive. My simple rule for good service is whether or not they keep our drinks filled. We literally had to restrain them to fill our drinks for us. The group of 4 in our party had eaten (after 45 mins) and paid by the time our food came. I took a bite of my burger, which I had ordered well done, and it was cool in the middle and red. Not lightly pink, definitely not well done. 45 minutes for an uncooked burger? On to my wife's club sandwich. It arrived and had three 1" ends of what looked like asparagus and some random onions on it. The problem is, her dish didn't come with vegetables. These looked like leftovers that had somehow landed on her plate. Her sandwich, remember the one ordered with mayo and mustard? Yeah, it came with BBQ sauce on it. Really? We went ahead and asked for a manager and explained the situation. I felt bad for her and she was very polite and you could tell she was frazzled as the restaurant was obviously having a bad night. She wanted very badly to make it right for us, but there was nothing to be done other than take our food back and let us go somewhere else. I sure hope they fix this chain restaurant.

READ before feeding your family at this NASTY restaurant. 3 weeks prior to actually eating here I walked into this restaurant and decided not to eat based on a poor reception and a dirty entry area. Fast forward to Tuesday the 9th of June, I'm back in the area on business again and thought I'd give them another try. I walked in to another dirty entryway and another poor reception. But I looked past it. I never do this, it's usually a sign. Sure enough undercooked/cold shrimp, wilted brown lettuce, and a warm Margarita. Get this, it's their premium Margarita. headshake. Here's the worst of it. While finishing my meal, or what parts of it I could eat, my waitress got on her hands and knees under a table picking up food pieces with her hands. Then, with one hand full of food off the floor she proceeds to pick up my check and credit card to run me. When she returned I informed her I was disgusted that she was on the floor and then handle my credit card and the ink pen of which she expected me to use for the check. She looked confused, she couldn't tie the filth to my transaction. It just didn't equate.

Applebee's is typically one of those restaurants with decent food and place that's pretty consistent. You always know what you're gonna get. Unfortunately, at the St. Joe location, this was totally not the case. I'm sad to say I've gone twice to this location and to say that I was disappointed is the understatement of the year. The service was horrible, let alone the food. One might think that they cooked the meals and let them sit for 30 minutes and then served them. All meals were served cold and not edible. Needless to say, we won't be going back to this Applebee's again. Hopefully, others have the consistency that matches the expectations.

0 stars! Disgusting!!!! Out of all my one stars, this one is the worst I think. I should have known the second we walked in, to walk back out. Here are the negatives... Food smashed all over the floor, dirty everywhere, and dirty bathrooms It took them too long to seat us, and it wasn't even packed, plenty of tables. Took too long to get our drinks, our orders, and only half our food came. Did anyone bother to check where the rest of our order was? HECK NO!! My friend had to hound 3 different workers to check on it. Some of the food was cold, and my "cool" salad was warm and limp. BLEEEGH!!!! Our waiter could have cared less about us. Positives.... The manager apologized, and gave half our meal free, And I didn't vomit from food poisoning. I will NEVER return here again!!

I visited twice over a three week period. Service was terrible both visits. French fries were stale and cold on both visits. The employees just don't seem to care about quality or service.
